A Sentry alternative you can try without rewriting anything

Buglapse accepts events from official Sentry SDKs. Enable the integration, put the Buglapse DSN into your existing setup and your errors, transactions, logs and replays start arriving — with the same code you have today.

Sentry alternative

Why teams look at Buglapse

  • Switch by changing the DSN

Enable the Sentry SDK integration for the organization and every project gets a second, Sentry-format DSN. No other change to your code is needed.

  • The signals you already send

Errors become issues, transactions and spans become traces, logs and replays land in their own sections of the dashboard.

  • An AI agent on your own key

Autofix opens a draft pull request with a fix and runs on your own AI provider key, so tokens are billed by the provider with no markup.

  • Plain plans per organization

One plan covers every project, with monthly quotas per event type. Uptime monitoring and an MCP server are part of the same product.

How it works

Try it next to your current setup

  1. 1

    Enable the Sentry SDK integration

The organization owner turns it on in the integrations settings, on a plan that includes the DSN for Sentry SDKs.

  2. 2

    Copy the Sentry DSN

It appears in the general settings of every project, next to the regular Buglapse DSN.

  3. 3

    Put it into your SDK

Replace the dsn option in one environment first, for example staging, and compare what you see in the dashboard.

In detail

What is compatible and what is different

What arrives from a Sentry SDK

Buglapse reads the envelopes an official Sentry SDK sends and maps them onto its own events: error events become exceptions with their stack trace and chain of causes, transactions and spans become traces, logs become logs, and replay recordings become replays. User, tags and contexts are carried over. Other item types in an envelope are dropped without being counted toward a quota. Server-side data scrubbing applies to these events exactly as it does to events from the Buglapse SDKs.

Where Buglapse is different

Buglapse is a smaller product with a narrower scope, and it is worth knowing its limits before you switch. Its own SDKs exist for the browser and Node.js only; other languages are covered through Sentry SDK compatibility. Alerts are delivered by email, in Telegram and in MAX; there is no Slack or webhooks. Plans are changed on request, as online payment is not available yet. What it adds on top is an AI agent that opens pull requests on your own provider key, a read-only MCP server for AI assistants, and built-in uptime monitoring.

Which Sentry SDKs work?
Official Sentry SDKs that send standard envelopes. The DSN keeps the usual format, so it goes into the same dsn option you already use.
Is my existing history imported?
No. Buglapse starts from the events sent after the DSN is switched. Your earlier data stays where it is.
What does Buglapse not do?
It accepts errors, transactions, logs and replays from Sentry SDKs; other event types are ignored. Alerts go to email, Telegram and MAX only, and there are no native SDKs beyond the browser and Node.js.
